Interaction Designer

Præsentation

I am an interaction designer who combines advanced technical skills with a perceptive awareness of the users needs and experiences. I got a Masters in Interaction Design from School of Arts and Communication at the Malmö University where I acquired a broad set of skills and methodologies. Among these are physical and software prototyping, conducting user research and sketching out scenarios. My interests lie in the creation of highly engaging and playful experiences spanning across a wide field of applications including systems, environments, interfaces, and products.

Process/Methodology
As an Interactions Designer my focus in on User Centered Design. I got an interest in technical design, usability guidelines and consumer products in general.
I’m able to analyzing target groups and their needs and working on a conceptual level to design new features and user functions for (within) future where the goal is to create excellent design and rich user experience in a constrained and mobile environment.
To develop mock-ups, simulators, sketching out scenarios and evaluating and reviewing design done by others is another thing I’m good at.

Hobbies and interests
Music takes a lot of my spare time. Has played in various rock band since I been 13 years old have done gigs in most parts of Sweden, some in Denmark and UK, and recorded a couple of albums. At the moment I am doing a project with an old friend of mine Johan Karlsson (Souls, Courtney Love, Monkeystrikes).

Is a member of STIMDI (Sweden's interest group for human computer interaction)

Part of my master thesis in interaction design was exhibit in Form/Design Center in Malmö from May 23 To June 8 2003. During this time 10000 visitors exhibit my physical GUI "Tambur" (cloakroom).

In 1998 from end of November up until Christmas I sold and guarded Christmas trees on the west side of Manhattan (Broadway & 89th Street, New York City) during night (9 pm - 9 am). This was the worst work I've ever done but at the same time very funny, exciting and constructive, to stand outside entire night in the city that never sleeps every night is a memory for life.

2006		Interaction Designer/Usability expert My role here includes studying and defying of the concept and of the main architecture. Designing of interaction and prototyping (both mock-up and hi-fidelity prototypes) and wireframes. Also includes performing benchmark analysis, contextual interviews, expert evaluations and usability evaluation.
2004		Interaction Designer (Freelance Designer) Most of the work has been in the field of web design, were I've done everything from finding the target group, the graphics and the programming, creating the databases and usability testing. Some DVD productions and multimedia stuff and concept studies in the field of mobility has also been done.
2001	2003	Interaction Designer (Research Assistent) My part here was to act as Interaction Designer were I tool part in workshops for future users groups, held brainstormed meetings and did concept studies. Design of UI for web, multimedia, databases and various applications and prototypes was other things I did under my time here.
1998	2001	User Interface Designer My roll here was to design user interfaces mostly for the web but also for various Java applications, everything from administrations systems to databases. I was also responsible for usability and user experience questions.
